Most Common Place to Catch Lice

This is pretty obvious but did you know that the most common place to catch head lice is at school or daycare?

You may have notice that most infested with head lice are children. That’s because kids like to play in groups, nap close to each other, share their personal items like comb and other hair accessories.

Parents who send their child in Michigan school were upset after learning that the school didn’t report that they are having head lice cases.

It turns out that Michigan schools are not required to notify parents when it come to lice but parents seem not to be aware of that policy.

“It’s wrong to leave your children sitting there with lice in their hair and let them sit in class and give it to other children,” said Michael Vollmer, parent.

Adults can get infested too...

Being an adult and knowing the proper hygiene does not make you an exception of having head lice.

Take it from the story of Susannah Constantine who bravely revealed that she has been infested with nits for three years.

“My hair is to be pig-tailed, scorched and, in a coup de théâtre, professionally ‘hoovered’ in an attempt to rid me once and for all of the lice that, around the country, are becoming ever-more resistant to standard treatments,” said Constantine. Reported by Mirror UK
